Since our formation in 2006, Lonelyleap has grown rapidly, producing award winning films across documentary, advertising, digital and corporate production. Join us in our next stage or growth; we now require a Moving Image Library Intern to provide support in our archive department.
The successful candidate will receive a 3-month internship gaining hands-on-experience in a busy archive department in a cutting edge production company.
The internship will give the candidate a good understanding of a moving image library receiving valuable skills in cataloguing and keywording, organising and uploading footage onto the library content management system as well helping out with some footage/image research duties.
The candidate should possess the following attributes:
A good attention to detail
Good organisational skills
A proactive can-do attitude
An enthusiastic and creative passion
Excellent written and verbal English
Good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro
Tasks will include:
Cataloguing and keywording
Organising and uploading footage onto the library content management system
Assisting with the monthly archive newsletter and screening
Footage/Image research duties
This is an ideal position for a film or photography graduate who is looking for experience in a moving image library and is looking to develop their skills for a career in the archive industry.
